This is Your Shot: ‘Hamilton' Is Hosting Auditions in DC

The Broadway hit hip-hop musical "Hamilton" is looking for its next slew of singers and rappers in the District for upcoming shows.

Casting office Telsey + Company posted a flyer on Tuesday saying that audition applications are being accepted until April 5, DCist first reported. The auditions will be for upcoming companies and future replacements in the New York, Chicago and touring productions of "Hamilton."

Those interested in auditioning can send a photo and resume to Casting@HamiltonBroadway.com with the subject line "DC AUDITIONS."

The flyer says that equity and non-equity performers of all ethnicities are encouraged to apply and that submitting an application does not guarantee an audition appointment. Anyone who can not audition live can follow instructions here

A week ago, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced the popular Broadway show will be returning for a second time to Washington next year.
