Third Nor'easter in 2 Weeks Expected to Have Low Impact on D.C. Area

A southern storm making its way up the coast will graze the D.C. area Monday.

Monday will be cold and wet, but any chances for winter weather will stay in central and southwestern Virginia, Storm Team4 says.

As the storm passes to our south, periods of light snow could be possible. That snow will turn to light rain by the afternoon.

Temperatures will climb to the lower 40s Monday.

The D.C. area will stay cold and windy for the next few days. Gusty winds between 15 and 30 mph are expected Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will remain well below average for the rest of the week.
