The results are in! The National Arboretum's newest eaglets will now go by the names Honor and Glory.
The eaglets, formerly known as DC4 and DC5, hatched in February at the U.S. National Arboretum. After their birth, the public was invited to vote for their names.
Top name contenders included Stars and Stripes, Peace and Harmony and Potomac and Anacostia.
The hatching of the bald eaglets was seen through the American Eagle Foundation’s live bald eagle nest cam, which continues to show the eaglets’ progress.
