After a week off, back to work with Week 6.
Week 6 opponent: Dallas Cowboys (2-3)
Game information: Sunday, Oct. 13 -- AT&T Stadium -- 8:30 p.m. -- NBC (right here on NBC4, to be exact, so you should definitely tune in).
Last week: The Redskins sat idle last week, while the Cowboys blew a 14-0 lead, fell behind 35-20, took a 41-38 lead and ultimately lost a 51-48 shootout to Peyton Manning and the Broncos. As one would expect by now, it took just one costly turnover by Tony Romo -- this time in the form of an underthrown interception -- to seal the Cowboys' fate.
What's the skinny?: Washington may have started 1-3, but the NFC East is so horrendous -- there are three teams in the NFL that have as many wins on their own as the NFC East does combined (five) -- that it is still very much in the race for the division title. Despite that 1-3 record, the Redskins are just one-half game behind the Cowboys and Eagles for first place.

That's really it. Makes you wish the Nationals played in a crappy division, huh?
Statistic Of The Week: Last week, Romo threw for 506 yards -- which set a franchise record -- but still lost. Actually, it was the fifth time in Romo's career that he threw for at least 400 yards, and the Cowboys have lost every single game that he has done so. The only quarterbacks in NFL history to have lost five such games are Carson Palmer, Drew Brees and Dan Marino.
