With every forecast
we are a' cringing
hoping there won't be any more blizzardin'.
If we lived in Buffalo
it might not be so bad.
We could be saying, this snow is the best we ever had.
But with Fenty and Co. at the plow wheel,
there's no way that sentiment would be real.
Just look at this photo from 11th and K...
why are they doing this in the middle of the day?
Consecutive blizzards notwithstanding
have our expectations become so low?
or is the mayor merely putting on a dog-and-pony show?
If re-election is his hope,
Fenty better'd take the reign
and find a way to cause us less pain.
