We are the News4 assignment desk and we approved this Night Note.

PORN ON CAMPUS
The University of Maryland will join the likes of fine educational institutions such as UCLA, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon and Rensselaer Polytechnic when it screens a pornographic parody of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series. We applaud producers Joone and Samantha Lewis for trying to bring plot back to porn in this electronic age of instant-access to money shots, but what a lame title: "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge." Whatever happened to inspired titles like "Edward Penishands," "Interview with a Vibrator" and, of course, "Deep Throat"? (NBCWashington.com)

NO TEXTING WHILE DRIVING SAYS MD SENATE
Maryland appears likely to join Virginia and the District of Columbia in banning texting while driving.  The Maryland House of Delegates voted 133-2 Wednesday to approve a bill that bans writing or sending texts while driving. Offenders would face a maximum $500 fine for the misdemeanor violation. (Washington Post)

TWO NOSES BETTER THAN ONE?
It's no April Fools’ joke. The baby bunny really does have two noses. Allison Noe, a Connecticut pet shop worker, found the nosey bunny in a delivery of 6-week-old dwarf rabbits that arrived at the Milford store last week, according to the Connecticut Post. Both noses have two nostrils. (MSNBC)

NJ PEELS BACK ON WAXING BAN
New Jersey is smoothing out differences over a plan to ban bare-it-all bikini waxing. The state on Friday decided to reverse course on the proposal after angry salon owners complained about losing business ahead of swimsuit season.
