The 17-year-old boy accused of shooting and killing another teen has been arrested.
Chet Markland Jarret Jr. of Lothian, Maryland, has been charged as an adult in the murder of 17-year-old Jajuan McRae.
Investigators believe Jarret and McRae got into a fight in the 4300 block of Rockport Lane in Glenn Dale on Aug 21. When officers arrived to the area just before 10 p.m., they found McRae suffering from gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at an area hospital.
Police say Jarrett was arrested Wednesday. He has been charged with first- and second-degree murder.
