Authorities have given the all-clear at Northwestern High School after a suspicious package was found inside the school.
Fire officials say the suspicious package was found inside Northwestern High School in Hyattsville just before 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The school was evacuated, and the fire department was called to the scene.
The package contained non-hazardous material, Mark Brady, a spokesman for the Prince George's County Fire Department, said.
The bomb squad gave the all-clear just after noon.
