Suspected MS-13 Member Arrested in Arlington in Connection to Texas Killings

A suspected MS-13 gang member has been arrested in Arlington, Virginia, in connection to two killings in Houston, Texas, police said.

The Houston Police Department said Douglas Alexander Herrera-Hernandez, 20, also known as “Terror,” has been charged with capital murder in Fort Bend County, Texas, and murder in Harris County, Texas.

Herrera-Hernandez is accused of participating in the June 13, 2016, killing of a 16-year-old boy, who had witnessed several gang-related slaying, police said. A warrant was issued for Herrera-Hernandez's arrest after the killing.

Police also believe on July 9, 2017, Herrera-Hernandez shot and killed Kevin Alvarez, 26. Alvarez was shot multiple times.

Arlington County, Virginia, police arrested Herrara-Hernandez on Saturday in coordination with the FBI.
