Police: Suspect Entered UMd. Student's Dorm, Got Into Bed

University of Maryland police have alerted students after a woman told them a man entered her dorm room and climbed into her bed early Sunday morning.

Police at the College Park, Maryland, campus said the woman reported that a man she didn't know got into her dorm at Elkton Hall through an unlocked door about 6:30 a.m. He then got into her bed and started to touch her.

The suspect eventually left after the woman yelled at him and told him to get out of the dorm, police said.

During the incident, the suspect mentioned "OG Legend," a reference to a strain of marijuana, police said.

Campus police said Monday afternoon they identified the man and there is no threat to the campus community.

Police described the suspect as a heavy set white man, medium height with a round face, brown eyes, short brown straight hair, and wearing only red and blue plaid shorts.
