Suburban Hospital was locked down after an employee's suspicious death in a non-patient area, Montgomery County police said.
Officers identified the victim as Roosevelt Brockington, Jr. Police said the body of the 40-year-old male employee had sustained traumatic injuries to his upper body, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Brockington's family identified him as the hospital's lead engineer.
At 10:30 a.m., the employee was assaulted at the hospital, police said. The hospital was locked down at about 10:45 a.m. for almost four hours.
Ambulances and other emergency vehicles were temporarily rerouted during the investigation. No visitors or patients were let in our out during the four hour lockdown.
