A student at Montgomery Blair High School was stabbed by another student in the school's parking lot on Monday morning, police say.
The victim suffered multiple wounds that were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
The stabbing occurred during a fight at about 10 a.m., police said.
The victim was bleeding from the back, shoulder and neck, an officer could be heard saying over a police radio. The bleeding was under control, he said.

Chopper4 footage showed sheriff's department vehicles outside the school.
The alleged attacker was arrested hours later, after a call went out for a suspect about 4-foot-10. Officers could be seen taking a young person away.

Both the victim and suspect are 10th graders and juveniles, police said, declining to disclose their ages.
The school went into lockdown and then shelter-in-place status.
Principal Renay Johnson said in a letter to families that the alleged attacker’s parents made him go back to the school.
“The suspect left school grounds and was returned to school by the student’s parents and taken into custody by Montgomery County Police,” Johnson wrote.
School dismissal was set to take place as usual, with regular after-school activities in place.
The principal thanked students and teachers.
“As I always say, ‘If you see something, say something,’ and that was the case today, as staff and students immediately informed us of the incident. A caring and supportive school community is the Blair way,” Johnson wrote.
Police initially said the school was not placed on lockdown.
