Police in Washington are warning of street closures ahead of the Navy Mile race.
The race is taking place on Sunday, starting at 5:30 a.m. and ending at 12:30 p.m.
The race starts in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Ave. NW and goes east on Pennsylvania to Third Street NW. The race briefly goes north on Third Street before going west on Constitution Avenue NW to westbound Pennsylvania Avenue.
The finish line is in front of the Navy Memorial in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Ave.
Police are asking motorists to consider alternate routes. The race's website is available here.
