For the second time in a month, a speed camera in Washington, D.C., has been vandalized.
Police say a vandal damaged a traffic camera on the 3700 block of Southern Avenue SE on April 19, rendering it inoperable. Police released a surveillance photo of a vehicle of interest Monday.
In the photo, a black pickup truck with a full bed is seen driving by.
Investigators are looking into whether the vandal is also responsible for damaging a traffic camera on the same block a week earlier.
A nearby surveillance camera caught a person and vehicle of interest. The vehicle is believed to be a dark-colored Hyundai Santa Fe.
