Soybean Sprouts Recalled for Possible Listeria Contamination

A Springfield, Virginia, company is recalling all packages of its soybean sprouts because they may be contaminated with listeria.

Happy Sprout is voluntarily recalling its "Good Seed Soy Bean Sprouts." The sprouts come in 1, 2 and 10-pound bags.

The bags were distributed to stores in Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey.

Listeria can cause serious illness, particularly among those who are elderly, pregnant, newborn or suffering from weak immune systems.

Anyone who purchased the soybean sprouts can return them to the store they bought them from for a full refund.
