A small but strong thunderstorm stalled out over Frederick County, Maryland, causing some damage on Tuesday afternoon.
Storm Team4’s Amelia Draper said from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the storm moved very slowly over Frederick and Middletown. She said there were reports of small hail, heavy rain, downed branches and some trees falling onto cars.
A viewer, Dulcia Dutrow, took photos on Tuesday afternoon, showing downed branches and leaning power poles.
There were no weather alerts issued by the National Weather Service for this area at the time of the storm.
