As the media quickly learned on Sunday, Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has had enough of the quarterback controversy.
Talk about being late to the party.
After being asked who would start next week during the post-game press conference, the Redskins coach got mad and refused to answer the question.
Now, with Rex Grossman reportedly suffering from pneumonia and John Beck the current starter anyway, it would be safe for a reporter to assume that Beck would keep the honors, and leave the question unasked. But with 13 different starting quarterbacks in 10 seasons, asking who is going to be starting for the Redskins next week isn’t such a ridiculous question.
