Charges against a United Medical Center emergency department technician accused of sexually assaulting a patient have been dropped.
Premarcos Simon, 51, of Waldorf, Maryland, was accused of sexually assaulting a woman while he treated her at the hospital in southeast D.C. Dec. 4.
Simon denied the allegations.
The U.S. attorney's office did not say why the charges were dropped.
