A line of severe thunderstorms expected to move through the I-95 corridor about 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. just as fans would be filling FedEx Field for the Beyoncé/Jay-Z concert and Nationals Park for the Zac Brown Band Concert have died down.
A severe thunderstorm and flash flood watches originally issued through the evening are being taken down.
Isolated strong storms popped up Friday afternoon, prompting weather alerts.
The weekend will be nice with lower humidity and highs in the mid-80s.
