Several businesses in Downtown Washington are reopening after a gas line in the area broke.
Washington Gas crews were called to the 1700 block of M Street NW just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, and began clearing the scene just over an hour later.
M Street is closed currently closed between 17th and 18th streets NW, but the road is expected to open shortly.
