The Pentagon says a sailor from Fairfax, Virginia, died while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve in Bahrain.
Officials said Tuesday that 21-year-old Seaman Philip Frazier Manes died Sunday in Manama, Bahrain, in a non-combat related incident.
He was assigned to the USS Gladiator on forward deployment to Bahrain.
The incident is under investigation.
