An argument between roommates ends with one person dead.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said a Sterling, Va., man was killed in a shooting that occurred overnight in the 45500 block of Trestle Terrace in Sterling.
Officers responded to a residence for a report of a shooting that occurred after two roommates, both adult males, were involved in an altercation. One of the males was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said there was no threat to the community as the incident was contained to inside the home. No names will be released at this time pending notification of next of kin and the continuing investigation.
