Rescue crews lowered a basket to reach a man who apparently jumped off a small bridge on Connecticut Avenue in northwest D.C.
The man survived the fall into brush in a park below. He has non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe the man jumped intentionally.
Connecticut Ave was briefly closed in both directions at Macomb Street, but has since reopened.
