Rescue Puppy Stolen From Maryland Animal Shelter

A four-month-old rescue puppy was stolen from a Maryland animal shelter over the weekend, Howard County Police say.

Becca, a 16-pound blue-eyed husky mix, was taken overnight Saturday or early Sunday from the Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue in the 10200 block of Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City, police posted on Facebook.

There were no signs of forced entry, and nothing else was taken, police said

Detectives are asking anyone who may see the puppy at a pet store, vet clinic or anywhere else to contact police at 410-313-3200.
