Rescue crews from Montgomery and Howard counties suspended their search for a missing swimmer in a Maryland lake Wednesday evening.
According to Pete Piringer with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, a 19-year-old man was with a group of friends swiming at Triadelphia Lake when he disappeared around 6 p.m.
Piringer tweeted the search involved several boats, a dive team and technical rescue teams.
The search came to a halt around 9 p.m. Wednesday as severe storms moved into the area. Piringer tweeted the search will continue Thursday morning.
