A bathroom stall at Reagan National Airport is getting a lot of attention after a local author and parenting expert discovered it is designated as the location’s nursing lounge.
Leslie Morgan Steiner is a blogger and author of three parenting books. She posted the picture on Facebook in early April and it has gone viral.
Steiner said the so-called lounge is nothing more than a bathroom handicapped stall.
News4’s Adam Tuss reached out to The Metropolitan Airport Authority.
In a statement, they said, “We recognize that the location of the nursing lounge is not ideal. We are working with our teams to find a better solution to accommodate nursing mothers within the limited available space at Reagan National Airport.”
