Prince William County police arrested a seventh suspect but are still looking for an eighth suspect in the January gang slaying of a 21-year-old man.
Six other suspects, including a juvenile, have already been arrested in connection to the killing of Christian Sosa Rivas, whose body was found Jan. 12 along the Potomac River near Dumfries, Virginia.
The suspect on the loose is Dimas Misael Canales Santos, a 27-year-old Hyattsville, Maryland, man.
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy Wednesday in Montgomery County, Maryland, where he will be held until he is taken to Virginia.
Sosa Rivas claimed to be a leader of a local clique of the gang MS-13, which did not sit well with other gang leaders, according to a search warrant.
Police said they believe those gang leaders used social media accounts of female associates to lure Sosa Rivas away from his normal surroundings and killed him.
