Prince George's County Police are trying to identify a man who tried to rob a bank inside a Suitland, Md., grocery store Wednesday.
Officers were called to the 5500 block of Silver Hill Rd. around 12:15 p.m. to investigate an attempted armed robbery.
According to Prince George's Police, the robber entered the grocery store and approached the store's bank teller, demanding cash and implying he had a weapon. He walked away before the teller could comply.
Police described the supsect as a 6' tall, 180-pound African-American man in his 40s. He was wearing a white "Scarface" T-shirt and blue jeans.
Detectives believe he drove away in a burgundy Lincoln MKX SUV.
Crime Solvers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for tips that may lead to the suspect's arrest.
