New UMD Residence Halls to Be Named for Diversity Contributors

The University of Maryland is breaking with tradition in order to honor its diversity. The school announced it will name two of its new dorms after people of color who broke barriers at the university. Prince George’s County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins spoke with one of those history makers.
