Prince George's County Officer Suspended after DUI Arrest

A Prince George’s County police officer was suspended after being charged with DUI on Saturday.

Authorities said Corporal Miram Perez was off duty when she was stopped and arrested by Maryland State Police on Saturday. The officer was not driving a police cruiser at the time.

Perez has been with the Prince George’s County Police Department for 8 years and is assigned to the Bureau of Patrol. She is currently suspended with pay pending an administrative hearing.
