Prime Minister of Oz Out, President-Elect In

Traffic back to normal around Hay-Adams as Obamas move to Blair House

It's traffic as usual around the Hay-Adams Hotel after President-elect Barack Obama and family moved closer to the White House Thursday.

The first family-elect moved to the Blair House -- the posh residence for presidents-in-waiting -- after Australian Prime Minister John Howard, who booked ahead of Obama -- moved out.

Located at 1651 Pennsylvania Ave., the Blair House serves as the official guest house for visiting heads of state. It is four interconnected townhouses and larger than the White House itself. It has 14 guest bedrooms, 35 bathrooms, four dining rooms, an exercise room, a flower shop and a hair salon.
