As the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks approaches, many people and organizations are going out of their way to honor those who lost their lives and those who are currently serving. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is sponsoring a fair.
During the Salute to Service Street Fair, families and friends of the military are invited to play games, eat and build personalized care packages to be sent to those serving our country overseas.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2011, at PwC's McLean office at 1800 Tysons Blvd. in McLean, Va.
All care package items are provided by PwC and can be sent to family members or members of the military serving abroad chosen at random.
Shipping costs will also be handled by PwC.
