President's Flight to Camp David Diverted

White House says storms to blame for Marine One diversion.

The White House said bad weather forced President Obama's flight to be diverted from a trip to Camp David.

He was on Marine One with his daughter, Sasha Friday afternoon.

The helicopter took off from the south lawn of the White House when it was diverted to an airport in Frederick, Md.

The White House said storms and low visibility caused the last-minute decision to land.

A motorcade took the president and daughter Sasha the rest of the way to Camp David which is about 70 miles northwest of Washington.
