Porch Roof Collapse in Western Maryland Injures Three

At least three people were injured when a porch roof collapsed Saturday in Frostburg, Maryland, according to the Frostburg Fire Department.

One person was seriously injured when the roof on which several people were standing collapsed. Several others were treated on the scene for minor injuries.

The fire department said police were on the scene in the 100 block of Wood Street around 7 p.m. Saturday for reports of a loud party when the collapse occurred. The party is said to have numbered between 200-250 people.

Those who were injured were taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
