Police Seek Armed Robbers in Montgomery County

Montgomery County police are searching for five people in connection with a series of armed robberies along Veirs Mills Road in September.

Investigators released surveillance video and composite sketches in an effort to identify the robbers. The video showed four people enter an Exxon gas station, next to the Stoneymill Square shopping center, with their faces concealed and armed with handguns on Sept. 22.

Police said the employee complied with their demands, and the group fled back into a silver Chrysler 300 being driven by a fifth person.

Investigators believe the same people were involved in the armed robbery of a food truck that was parked in a parking lot at 12265 Veirs Mills Road. In that robbery, three people, who match descriptions of those involved in the Exxon robbery, stole money from the truck and fled the area in a silver Chrysler 300.
