Police: Man Riding Stolen Motorcycle Dies in Maryland Crash

A man riding a stolen motorcycle died in a crash with a car in Maryland, authorities say.

Maryland State Police said the crash happened Saturday in Upper Marlboro.

A preliminary investigation revealed that before the crash, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Maryland Route 202 when the driver of a Nissan attempted to make a left turn and the vehicles collided.

The motorcycle's driver died as a result of the crash. State Police identified him as 36-year-old Michael R. Davis of the District of Columbia. State Police said the motorcycle was listed as stolen through Howard County and that the tags were listed as stolen through Virginia.

All four of the Nissan's passengers were teenagers. One had minor injuries from the crash.
