Police Looking for Man Who Sexually Assaulted 17-Year-Old: Fairfax County

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in Burke, Virginia, Friday afternoon.

The 17-year-old was walking on the Roberts Parkway bridge when a man approached her and offered her a ride about 1 p.m., Fairfax County Police said. She declined his offer at first, but then agreed after the man insisted, police said.

The man drove the victim to a dead end near the 10400 block of Premier Court and parked his car, police said. The victim attempted to get out of the car, but the man physically restrained her and then sexually assaulted her, according to police.

After the assault, the man fled in his silver four-door sedan, leaving the victim behind, police said.

She called 911 and was taken to a hospital, examined and released.

The man, believed to be in his late teens to early 20s, stands about 5-feet 10-inches tall. He is Hispanic with short brown hair and was wearing an orange T-shirt with blue stripes and blue shorts, police said.
