A man shot his estranged wife then turned the gun on himself Wednesday night outside of a Prince George's County home.
According to police, 47-year-old Jason Taffe of the 14000 block of Whispering Pines Court in Silver Spring visited 41-year-old Denise Taffe's home in Clinton, Md., at approximately 10 p.m.
The two got into a a physical altercation outside of a home in the 7700 block of Pinewood Drive. Officials said Jason Taffe pulled out a shotgun, killing Denise Taffe, and then turned it on himself.
