Police in D.C. are investigating the death of a 2-week-old baby.
The boy died Wednesday after he was found in distress inside a home on Pomeroy Road in Southeast.
According to an incident report, the infant was not breathing when medics arrived at the scene.
Medics tried to give him CPR, but it wasn't enough. He was pronounced dead at the hospital just after 5:30 a.m.
Police have not released the baby's name.
His cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
