D.C. police are investigating after discovering what appeared to be human remains in Southeast Washington.
Metropolitan Police said they responded to a report of human remains found in the 2600 block of 30th Street SE about 10 a.m. Saturday.
When police arrived they recovered what appeared to be human remains and opened a death investigation to determine the manner and cause of death.
