Police ID Woman Killed After Losing Control of Car in Temple Hills Parking Lot

The woman who died after losing control of her car in a parking lot Monday night has been identified as 53-year-old Jeanette Bryan, Prince George's County Police said Wednesday.

Bryan, of District Heights, was killed in Temple Hills, Maryland, after her car hit a curb while she was leaving a parking lot in the 4200 block of Branch Avenue.

It's not clear why her vehicle hit the curb, but her car then crashed into another vehicle on St. Barnabas Road, according to a preliminary investigation.

Police were called to the area about 8 p.m. Bryan was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the second car was injured but was expected to be OK. That driver's car hit another car, but the third driver wasn't hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
