A park in Maryland that was destroyed by arson nearly two years ago is scheduled to reopen Tuesday.
Officials in Howard County say they will hold a ribbon cutting to mark the reopening of Huntington Park's playground.
The park has been closed since being destroyed by arson on May 26, 2015. Authorities have said the blaze caused $40,000 in damage.
Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman and State Sen. Guy Guzzone are among the officials scheduled to be there for the playground's re-opening.
After the fire, an 18-year-old was charged with two counts of malicious burning in the case. Online court records show the case has since been dropped.
