"This is how powerful flood waters can be- one car was swept off the road by current and into woods," Fairfax County Fire & Rescue said on Twitter. "Water had receded and calmed by the time #FCFRD crews arrived. When you encounter a flooded road- #TurnAroundDoNotDrown."
