Perfect Weather Is Also Dry Weather

Everything has its price, and the beautiful weather that the mid-Atlantic is enjoying over the holiday weekend is no different.

NBC meteorologist Chuck Bell says that much of the mid-Atlantic region is enduring moderate to severe draught, and there is an increased risk for fires.

From as far north as Boston to as far south as Georgia, there isn't a drop of water falling on the East Coast. And with the prospect of rain as far off as next weekend, there is no end in sight to the abundant sunshine.

Temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s will dominate. Overnight, temperatures may fall into the 50s in many spaces.

Near-perfect beach weather will dominate tomorrow and continue through the work week.
