1 Dead, 1 Injured in Arlington Stabbing

One man has died and another is injured after a double stabbing in Arlington, authorities have confirmed to News4.

News4's Jackie Bensen reports the double stabbing happened in the 100 block of S. Glebe Road, where police say there was a dispute. One victim ran to 3rd Street.

The Arlington Country Fire Department tweeted at 8:17 p.m. Friday that units were responding to reports of "an assault with a weapon with multiple patients."

One man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died, police said. It is Arlington's first homicide this year. Police believe he was in his 40s.

Another man has minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital. He is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, Bensen reports.
