A man died after he was hit by a pickup truck while trying to cross a street in Forestville, Prince George’s County police said.
Eugene Crawford Anderson, 52, of Lanham, was struck about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday on Pennsylvania Avenue, police said.
Anderson was wearing dark clothing and it was raining when the accident occurred, officers said. The pickup truck driver stayed at the scene.
Anderson died at a local hospital. The accident is under investigation.
