A pedestrian died in a crash Tuesday evening along Pennsylvania Avenue in Upper Marlboro.
Crews responded to the crash just before 10 p.m. on Route 4 in the area of Water Street.
According to Maryland State Police, the driver of the striking car stayed on scene after the crash.
All eastbound lanes on Route 4 near the crash remained closed into early Wednesday morning for police investigation.
