A pedestrian struck by a car Monday morning in Arlington died at a local hospital, county police said.
Jay Thoman, 44, of Arlington was struck just after 7 a.m. on Columbia Pike at Queen Street.
The driver stayed at the scene.
Thoman was taken to George Washington University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
