Within a month of getting his license back from a DWI charge, Aman Lail is now facing DUI and involuntary manslaughter charges stemming from a Rosslyn crash early Friday morning.
Authorities say Lail, 24, of Baltimore was driving his jeep eastbound on Lee Highway when he t-boned a Chrysler Crossfire driven by 24-year-old Sawlain Chowdhury of Arlington.
Chowhudry was transported to a GW Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Lail has been charged with a DUI and aggravated involuntary manslaughter. He's being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Center.
Because of the accident's vicinity to the crosswalk, there was initially some suspicion that a pedestrian may have been involved.
Lail had just gotten his license back last month -- it was suspended for a year after he got a DWI. His previous traffic violations include reckless driving, speeding, disregarding traffic lights and public intoxication.
