New Venue on the Wharf to Showcase Booker T. Jones on Opening Night

Pearl Street Warehouse, a live music venue located on The Wharf's entertainment-driven portion of the Southwest Waterfront, just released its inaugural concert lineup of shows through December.

Modern soul music star, Booker T. Jones is slated to play on Oct. 12 ― the venue's opening night. The Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee is well known for his songs "Green Onions," "Hang 'Em High," "Time Is Tight" and "Melting Pot."

Other stars scheduled to perform at the venue include Amy Helm and American Idol star, Nick Fradiani, on Oct. 13 and Nov. 4, respectively.

Pearl Street Warehouse will fill their stage with musicians who play all-American music like blues, folk, country, bluegrass and soul.

The Warehouse's opening night coincides with that of one their neighbors, The Anthem ― another new concert venue that will showcase The Foo Fighters on their first night.

But unlike other nearby music spots, the warehouse will offer "diner-style" American food and an assortment of cocktails that will be available before, during and after the shows, according to their website.

"We provide an exciting small music venue in a relaxed atmosphere," said Bruce Gates, one of three Pearl Street Warehouse founders.

The rest of the concert schedule and tickets to the events can be found on Pearl Street Warehouse's website.
